Originally "coaching" was a term that was associated with sports:  the coach was a person who would help an individual or team to hone and improve their game, whether it was tennis, soccer, rugby, golf or any other sport.  Nowadays "Coaching" is a term that describes the cognitive technology and tools that is used to unleash human potential in any aspect of the human experience, whether it's business, leadership, personal life or sports.

Top performers in a great range of fields employ coaches – CEO's entrepreneurs, psychologists, business owners, managers, mothers… the list includes everyone who asks "How can I make things even better?"  This involves a "generative" approach to human functioning:  to generate new levels of competence, success and well-being, rather than a remedial approach which attempts to fix problems – and herein lays the difference between "coaching" and "therapy".

What is there to gain from COACHING?

  • Top-notch clarity about your roles, performance and challenges in the various aspects of your life
  • A deep understanding of your motivations, intentions, goals, skills, and strategies
  • Increased resourcefulness: an ability to make many more neurological connections, and therefore recognise options and make decisions that put you in the best possible position to achieve your goals and to experience the satisfaction of a life well lived.

Wellness Coaching combined with Specialised Kinesiology
The Silence Incorporated expertise lies in helping people to overcome the stress and overwhelm that often threaten the physical, mental and emotional health of successful people.  Life can become so fast and full that we somehow lose ourselves, and our bodies need to get our attention by producing uncomfortable symptoms, for example

  • Headaches, neck pain, back ache
  • Digestive complaints and abdominal discomfort
  • Immune deficiency – frequent colds and infections
  • Allergies and food intolerance
  • Weight problems, food cravings, disturbed eating patterns
  • Insomnia or disturbed sleeping patterns
  • Tiredness and exhaustion
  • Poor memory and impaired concentration ability
  • Irritability, angry outbursts, being unpleasant to be with

The temptation is of course to treat only the obvious, physical manifestation – e.g. the headaches, ulcer, spastic colon, back pain, asthma, allergies, sinus problem, muscle spasm, depression, insomnia etc.  However, a superficial symptomatic approach usually does not lead to lasting relief.

Kinesiology, which uses muscle monitoring as verification tool, holds the key to accurately pinpointing the mental-emotional context of physical complaints.  Resolving these issues are often the key to lasting relief – because the true cause of the problem gets revealed and defused and the body’s innate healing ability is once again activated.

How long does it take?
Coaching sessions are 1½ hours long.  Sometimes ONE session is all it takes to make a transformational shift; sometimes it takes 4 – 6 sessions to flush out all the involved patterns, to install new frames of mind and to try them out in the "real world" and assess their success.

How to start the process
There is usually a 2 – 4 week waiting list.  Please call (082) 463-6195 to set up an appointment.  We usually set up 3 or 4 appointments in advance, but if we don't need all the appointments (which often happens), it's easy to cancel.  Payment is made after each session.
