Suggested exercise: 

Memorise these four lines and say each line silently
to your self as you walk and breathe.

Breathing in I calm body and mind (inbreath)
Breathing out I smile (outbreath)
Dwelling in this present moment (inbreath)
I know this is the only moment (outbreath)
